Why did you choose the insurance industry?
The insurance industry has provided me with a stable career and security for the future in this ever-changing world and fluctuating economy. A number of careers and employment depend on any number of variables however insurance has, and will remain, a constant source of opportunity and employment.
What have you done in your career so far?
I have focused my career path along the claims aspect of insurance. I have been fortunate to have worked as an insurance adjuster/claim representative dealing with home, auto and injury claims.
What do you do in a typical working day?
A typical day entails helping our insureds deal with recent losses they have suffered. Insurance is very much a service-based industry and it is my job as a claim representative to explain to our insured the step-by-step process of adjusting their claim.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
Nobody enjoys being involved in a personal loss. A lot of people can feel lost and experience unwanted stress upon suffering a loss. This is where insurance comes in. If I can help someone make their loss experience a little less stressful, I know I have done my job.
