I was very excited to hear that I was chosen for a Canadian Insurance Scholarship, and I would like to thank BCAA for their generosity.
In the last few years, my career of choice was affected by the economic downturn and I needed to find a new path. I was lucky enough to have a friend suggest I look into the insurance industry as an option. The more I learn about this world, I can definitely see that there are several areas that would be really cool to explore, such as being a mobile agent.
I am now planning on working towards getting my Level 2 designation. With this in mind, I will once again be calling on the experts at the ILS Corporation for their informative courses to achieve my goal.
Canadian Insurance Scholarship Program Update (September 2010): Laurie is now working as a junior Autoplan agent in Nanaimo.
